Loopy studied mime with Bob Berky and "The Mime Workshop" way back in the ancient '70's. More recently, he has studied at The Celebration Barn, Motionfest 2004, MiniFest 2006, Jeff McBride's Masterclass 2007 and a host of acting classes at "Shipping Dock Theater". Some of the energies he brings to his clowning come from martial arts, acting, guitar, flute - and white water canoeing. He has starred in local community theater productions and as Detective Norm DePlume in murder mystery dinner theater for "The Mystery Game".
Loopy has also been the official "McGuyver" or "Technical Concierge", for Larry Moss's enormous Balloon Manor and Flying Octopus balloon sculptures, just to mention a few.
